It just keeps growing – we can’t stop it!!!


Case History
Year One Sales: 51 baskets. Year Two: nearly 500. Year Three: Almost more than they could handle. Year Four: More than all the fancy basket places in the Eaton Centre!

Corporate Complements/ Compliments started off by one person making Christmas baskets for her clients. It grew as people who had received baskets the previous year asked for the name of the firm that has made theirs. The Q Group was contacted and asked, “What should I do?”

The question posed: “Do you want this to become a real business?”

The affirmative reply led to our naming the tiny company, helping establish its unique positioning (truly customized baskets that offered value for the money), creating the logo (and letterhead, business cards and gift cards), contacting customers to find out what they liked about this little basket “company” and producing the yellow page advertisement and brochure that was used for a modest direct mail campaign (which we directed)

The following year the volume was almost too much for a small team of people and by Year Four, Corporate Complements/ Compliments did more business than all the fancy basket places in the Eaton Centre – all from someone’s home cum warehouse!
